There is a former sugar estate whose fame has crossed borders, and whose diversity and quality of production and services has no equal in Mauritius.

Among all this offer, one of them catches the attention of rum lovers: the Distillerie de Labourdonnais, new name since 2014 of the Rhumerie des Mascareignes, created in 2006.
Its delicious and authentic rums are the result of a mixture of know-how and modern methods, to obtain an unequalled quality of sugar cane juice, associated with a fermentation technique based on the variety of yeast used.
This palette of flavours is obtained by ageing the rum in different kinds of barrels, new French oak barrels or American oak barrels, to obtain delicious aged rums.
Obtained after maceration of fruits and spices from the Labourdonnais orchards in a high quality white rum: this is the Fusion range, with multiple flavours, citrus, vanilla, spices, ginger, orange or lemongrass.
The Classic range, on the other hand, offers delicate, refined and elegant flavours and a woody or full-bodied character.
No less than 10 medals have been awarded to these Mauritian rum ranges in international competitions.
