HMS Victory is primarily known as the ship of Admiral Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. It is also one of only two specimens in the world warship eighteenth century original still intact, with the American frigate USS Constitution.

AND TODAY ? On January 12, 1922, the HMS Victory is placed in dry dock in Portsmouth be preserved. In 1928, the ship is open to the public by King George V. Today HMS Victory is the key piece of the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth.
